Looking for a Detailer

Greetings from a newbie. I am located in West Chester, PA, and I am looking for recommendations for a respected, local detailer who would like to tackle my Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. I live in a condo, and park outside. I've had this truck a year now, and it has only been washed a couple times, at the drive through bays. Being a dually, it can't go through a car wash, and living in a condo complex, I don't have the facilities to hand wash it. It has never been waxed. I keep the inside nice, but the outside needs a good cleaning.



Anybody here know of anyone local who can do a good job on my truck?

So no one has any recommendations for anywhere in Chester or Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania?



The internet and yellow pages are FILLED with names of detailing shops, but I don't want some hack.:rolleyes:

I looked through my files and I don't have any one to refer you to in that area, further north and I would have a couple but nothing in the West Chester area. As for not wanting a hack touching your truck that is a risk you run with picking a detailer from the yellow pages. I would say to help find a good detailer get references and photo's of their work after that see if they'll talk with you about their process and products , you should be able to determine if they are knowledgeable or just hacks. You may also consider detailing the truck yourself in the end you will be happier doing it yourself then having a second rate shop screw your truck up. My offer still stands if you can't find anyone I'd be willing to come to you to deail the truck.
 
Doug, I appreciate the offer, but you coming to me wouldn't work. As I said, I live in a condo, and park in a lot. I have no access to water or a hose, which is why I can't wash or detail it myself.



If I come over there, I'm sure you do nice work, but what am I gonna do for the several hours it takes for you to do my truck?

swexlin , I understand your dilemma and it would take about 6-8hrs for a full detail. I wish I had someone to refer you to in your area, I guess I'll have to hunt one down for future use. I wish I could help more but it seems to be a difficult situation. I hope you're able to figure something out and get your truck detailed , if I come up with any one in your area I will let you know.

You could submit a service request or go through the list they have .



Don't be put off by the thought of a mobile detailer , most mobile units have everything needed ( water , electric, etc etc . ) to do a full and complete detail to your vehilce at your location .
