Looking at Zaino Products.

Hey I have a White Nissan Maxima.

I was wondering what I should use to detail it. I will be placing an order for a UDM soon. So I want something to go hand and hand with it. For the most part I have heard good things about Zaino products.



This is what I was looking to do:

1) Wash

2) Clay+Wash

3) Apply 1 coat of ZAIO

4) Apply Z2P

5) Finish with Z8



How does that sound?
 
I havent used Zaino in a long time, so I cant really give any great advice. You may want to look into ZPC as well if you've any defects in the paint though. You want the finish to look it's best BEFORE you put your sealant on it (no matter what sealant you use) Your max on those Z wheels looks SICK!

I think your process and product choices are spot on. The only recommendation I could add is if your paint needs swirl/defect removal, you need to add another step for that before the ZAIO. If not and you are happy with your paint as is, you are good to go. I would apply a couple layers of the Z2P, either same day or a few days apart, and always finish with the Z8.
 
Good choices. Don't get all caught up in the multi-layered, opti sealed, molecular bonded, poly this and that. Your selection sounds good just like it is.

This is actually the first post I read about a new Zaino user planning to do less than 10 steps. LOL! Yes go for it and you'll really like the results!
 
Ok thanks guys. And the best place to buy the UDM is from AutoGeek, but my question is what pads should I use for each application?
 
Only Zaino product I use with a maching is Z-PC with an orange or yellow pad.



Z-AIO use a white pad.



Z-2/Z-5/Z-CS apply by hand. Saves cleaning time, and saves product.
