Lookin' 4 a car cover

I'm looking for what most would consider a "cheap" car cover. General fitting, poly-cotton blend or just cotton - much like bed sheet type material. Inexpensive.

I have one that is kind of falling apart, leaves a lot of "dusty" residue on my car when I use it and it's dust from the cotton material itself not dust from the air. Ive washed the thing over and over but i think it's time has just come to an end and beginning to deteriorate. I already have one of the fancy 3 layered (NOAH, multi-bond, block-it 200, ect) covers just looking for something cheap now.

Cheap ones are available at most chain auto stores like Checker and AutoZone.

I just purchased a custom fit Sunbrella cover from Autoanything .

They have a good selection. Autoanything

It's not cheap, but the weathershield HD is what I use. It has gone thru torrential downpours and nothing gets thru. It has gone thru the FL summer heat, and still holds up. It's an awesome cover well worth the price.

Got one better for ya. My HD went through Hurricane Katrina and was still protecting my car when I returned home! I had a bungee cord running under my car to keep it one, and when I pulled it off, it honestly didn't look any different than when I left three weeks prior.

If that isn't proof of an awesome cover, nothing is.

By the way, in case anyone is interested, I'm selling my mom's Weathershield HD. Check it out in the Good Deals forum.

my HD also went thru a hurricane. Wilma. Worked great. I also ran a couple of bungees under it. 1 behind the front tires, 1 in front of the back tires, and two linked together to go from the center of the front to the center of the back.

I also got the extra flannel stiched into the seams.

these are awesome covers!
