Look What I Got!

Have fun testing it out and let us know what you think.

Well I didn't find a full car to do today but I did wash my own and throw on a third application of Powerlock. Prepping for the hot summer.......While the Powerlock was curing I used the Prime on a few pieces of porous black trim, headlights, tailights, and my glossy back grille trim. First impressions:

I really like the shine. Very glossy at least in my limited use today. The product is thinner than Klasse and dries quickly. I noticed a tip on the product site that stated something to the effect of works best in cooler temperatures. The outside temp was about 80 and with the sun beating on my garage door it may have boosted up to 85+. Not sure if I would want to work it any warmer than that. I have had luck using Klasse in the throws of summer here in AZ. So maybe I need to bust out the PC and give a full test on the entire car. I found Klasse to be a bit easier to work with on the porous trim. Prime needed a bit of a QD spritz to clean up completely. Good thing I bought that too. Overall I this seems to be a good product. I will hold off on a full review until I can use it in larger scale. For now I can tell that the product has its quirks just like Klasse. I have adapted to Klasse and find it very easy to use. So Klasse in my cabinet is going nowhere.

I'll tell you what I really liked is my new Metro Sidekick. Where have I been without an electric dryer all these years? They're under $100 at PAC. Pick one up today, you will love it!!!!!

I will post some pics in a few weeks after the install of the clear bra.

Fyi a little goes a long way with the spray products...

Thanks for the tip. I sprayed directly onto a MF and found that to be an easy process.

I've been amazed at how well prime works when you run it completely dry on a hot panel with a Flex on speed six. It actually still works, still seals, and doesn't marr. Now the abrasives don't really break down in prime (due to the drying out I think), so on super soft paint, you can get marring from prime strong. I switch to prime acrylic on these. For medium or hard paint, strong will do the job well. I actually like to run out dry like this because it buffs itself off and speeds up the whole process. That's with black or soft green pads. I'm also going to try the red hydrotech pads soon.

I haven't had the chance to try it on an entire car, just lights and trim. Looking forward to it though, thanks for the tips.
