longevity of sealants ?

Depends what Sealant, is it a garage queen?? or outdoors 24 hours a day???, what weather its going through...??
My UPP and EX last 3 to 6 months , vehicle is out-doors, but I wash it and Qd it regularly...i have 3 layers of it too...
My process, Wash,Clay, DACP, AIO, then UPP or EX...

Klasse SG lasts about 4-5 months on a daily driver that sits outside.
Einszett GW lasts about 6 months on a garage queen.
 
just in general for different types... was curious cause saw a flyer add where they offered from 1 month to 6 months protection.

And how many actually offer protection over looks and vice versa.
 
I can offer you 1 to 6 months of protection on any sealant. If you keep it in the garage under a car cover then I can probably offer you a year of protection. Climate and conditions are a major influance on how long a sealant will last. A daily driver without a garage in Arizona is not going to see the same sealant durability that someone in Wyoming is going to see. The more heat and sun that a product is exposed to will affect the durability. Generally you can expect nearly 3 months in most conditions. I would advertise that if you are using a good sealant. 2 to 3 months is very good for most sealants. There are some that will do 3-5 months without a problem. That is one of the reasons I use Klasse in the winter. I can put it on in October and not worry about the protection on my car till February. I can't do that with UPP or anything else I've tried.
