Adam's Polishes

New member
Hey everyone! Been lurking around the site for some time now, finally decided to make it official and sign up.

My name is Dylan and I drive a 2006 Onyx Black Trailblazer SS... minor mods on it right now, putting down 348hp and 391ft/lbs to the wheels after my last session on the dyno. :woot2:

I have always been big on car care and even owned/operated a mobile detailing business after I graduated from HS back in 98... real life and the persuit of the all mighty dollar forced me to sell my trailer off and get a "real job"

:work:

Recently I decided to restart the business (Deep Reflections Detailing) as just a side gig and having a ton of fun doing it in my spare time. I'll get pics up of some recent work as soon as I meet my 10 post quota to prove I'm not a spam bot :bawling:

Anyways, glad to finally be on here offically... looking forward to becoming more involved in the site.

What products are you using in your buisness?

Right now I'm fairly loyal to Adam's Polishes, I've been achieving outstanding results with their stuff and a PC, but I am looking to add some more products for the REALLY bad conditions... some more aggressive compounds... possibly even learning to use a rotary. Part of my reason for finally joining is to get some feedback on products that I should consider adding and learn... I've always believed that detailing should be an ongoing learning process and I know theres a ton of knowledge I can pick up here from those of you with much more skill than me.... I'm good, but I'm definitely not on the level of some of the guys on this site.

Because I have customers that demand it I also stock products from Zaino, DER, and Optimum and use those on a request basis, but Adams is my go to product.

I still have my full set of Der products. I blame you and Craig for getting me into detailing so much. :grinno:

HAHAHA. Sorry about that :D

I still use a lot of DER stuff as well... as a matter of fact I have a detail scheduled for tomorrow AM with a long time customer, he insists I use DER on his truck b/c he likes the way it comes out.

and now that I'm up to 10 posts I'll add some pics into this lifeless and boring thread:

Thanks. The G5 is amazing... I'd put it up against any other sub for SQ and the ability to PUMP some serious bass... most people don't believe I have a single 10 when they first here it then I pop the hatch and their jaws drop. :lol

Us SS guys are all pretty anal about taking care of our trucks... makes sense that a lot of us end up over here too. :bounce
