I have thought about it but the car is so heavily modified and doesn`t have cats on it. Legally they can`t sell it here in MA.
That`s kinda what I figured. Tax season is coming.

Is it one of those cars where gutting/etc. the cats makes a big diff? Just wondering, turns out that they don`t actually have *any* effect on the Crown Vics I`m currently playing with.

The car originally had the kooks high flow catted mid pipes and one of them started going bad. So I had them cut out and welded in a piece of stainless in there place.

Justins00SS- Yeah, some aftermarket cats don`t seem to like certain applications. The Stainless Works ones for Ford Panthers were really, uhm...sensitive...for a while there, though I hear they`ve fixed that (haven`t installed mine yet).
I bet you get the feeling that any more $ into the GTO might be wasted, huh?

I already have plans to keep pushing forward with the GTO if it doesn`t sell soon. Not waiting all year for it to sell. I give it about a month more.
Already have a brand new set of drag wheels waiting to go on it. If this situation didn`t arise then they would`ve been on already lol. Once the drag wheels and tires are on then I will be setting cash aside for a big expensive rearend upgrade.
The way I see it is if it stays then I will finish it the way I wanted to.

Justins00SS-Guess that shouldn`t surprise me, there`s just no end to this stuff, huh? The big Rear upgrade intriques me...I`m not into the drag racing thing, but I`m always interested in rearend setups.
