Long Lasting Trim Product

Can anyone tell me what is a good long lasting trim protectant. I currently use Stoners Trim Shine and really like it the way it brings the trim back to life and gives it a nice new shine look without being greasy looking but after 1 rain storm it is gone or is streaky looking on some spots. Is there a product that will give the trim a new matte finish look, has UV protection, is user friendly and lasts alot longer then 1 rain storm or wash. I am not really looking for a dye product either. Thanks for the help

I've found that it really helps to buff off any excess protectant after application no matter which protectant you are using. This prevents it from streaking later on. I personally like Meg's #40, it has a nice matte look and is fairly durable.

I'm a believer in Klasse AIO, optional top with SG, on trim. It really brings plastic trim parts especially on doors around windows a nice shine thats lasts! :up

If anyone is interested in a newbie's opinion --

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the black trim on my car. In my experience, it lasts for about a month before I have to re-apply. Keeps the trim looking nice and matte black.

I've used Poorboys Trim Restorer. It last about a month. Over time it diminishes as does any other product.

I just recently tried cleaning the trim with ArmorAlls OxiClean as I had some on hand. Amazing how dirty the trim was. I then used Mothers Back to Black, and it seems to hold up fairly well. After reading several posts here, I believe that cleaning the trim has a great deal to do with how the trim looks, irregardless of what you put on it. I guess it is the same as washing the car before you wax it. :D

Just a newbies .02 worth.
