Long Haul.... Am I the only one that....?

I don't normally QD my car, either in between nor after a wash. So for $3, I figured I'd give the Truck Gloss a try.

My LSP is currently NXT and one thing I do not like about it is that the finish looks dull by the next wash. The NXT Spray Wax helps boost up the shine a bit, but again the car always ends up looking dull after a wash, not to mention that it takes almost as much effort to apply the spray vs an lsp.

For the past 3 weeks or so, after I wash I've been spraying the Truck Gloss QD and my car has a noticeably better, glossier appearance. I have a black car, so it doesn't stay clean very long, but with using the Truck Gloss, it doesn't seem to attract as much dust/dirt as it normally would.

It's probably not going to be the best QD you'll ever use, but I really can't say anything bad about it considering it does its job and for only $3 for a large bottle.

Im gonna have to go against the grain.

I LOVE the polish/wax. Easy as hell to apply, easy as hell to remove, gives a GREAT apperance, lasts an EASY 2 months, i found it to have GREAT cleaning ability, extremely slick, nice tight little beads and at $5 for a LARGE bottle ya cant go wrong. After buying my first bottle from BL's and trying it i went straight back and cleaned their shelves of it. I currently have 6 unopened bottles and gave 4 bottles away as gifts.

I havent treid anything else though so i cant comment.

OK... I'm glad to see these comments from "coupe", as I was starting to think I was crazy after reading the negative stuff above! I think polish/wax is a great product at Autozone clearance price!

Polish/wax is my "go to" for all my personal vehicles and families cars when I do not have time for a multiple step clay/polish/seal process. Since time has been short lately, I've found I've used it a lot this summer. Durability is only good for 1-2 months, but it is damn easy to apply and remove, ESPECIALLY with a PC. I like the fact that it is a cleaner wax, since I've not had time to clay and polish lately. Does a nice job for a one-step, and it is cheaper than many other cleaner wax products at the close-out prices.

OH... one more thing. I've found I can really stretch the durability of Polish/wax by topping it with DG Aquawax after the first wash. Auqawax adds the slickness that disappears after the first wash with Long Haul Polish/wax. These two products have been my time savers for the past 12 months: Long Haul Polish/Wax every 2-3 months, and Aquawax at every other wash.
