Long day of detailing the Supra, but worth it.

The car was in the shop for the past 4 months so I had my cousin come over and work his magic detail expertise. After seeing his work on his brother’s car, I was shocked at how superb his skills were.

So in the hours of 5pm and 12am today the car went under a transformation. Words can not express how happy he has made me. The car literally looks right off the show room floor. He said my paint was in good condition to begin with which made the process easier, however this was some hard work. At times you felt like rushing through it but had to control yourself and take your time while your back is in pain. When you love your car to a level like this, you want it in the best condition possible I guess. He did the majority of the work while I did what I could do to help. Here is a kind of start to finish photo journey. Enjoy guys.

PS, Thanks cousin.

I will get some more photos up in the day time this week. Thank you for looking!

Holshot, the car is not fully tuned yet however it drives great on the street. I can not get on it on pump gas because of the fact I can not keep it under 21psi. The lag is really not as bad as you might think. When we final tune it I will share the spool and data.

Zach90Turbo, haha I know the stock rims look strange when you find out whats under the hood.

I am going to ask my cousin the exact products he used but I believe they were purchased off the internet because only specialty stores carry them. It is the products body shops use I believe.

Thank you. I managed to get it out of the garage for a quick 5min aand under the sun to take and share some more photos. You can't hide anything under the sun.

That almost looks like product holograms/smearing. See if that buffs out with a QD/Microfiber, otherwise, incredible car, and amazing detail :woohoo:

Supras are legendary in my eyes, such a strong racing heritage. Looks like quite the turnaround, he must have been pretty happy. Looks good man!

I can't seem to find the holograms/smearing? Anyone care to enlighten me as to what it looks like?
in the last picture they look like extending sun rays below the sun reflection, i see 4 or 5

street racing heritage maybe, but i cant think of too many competition supras out there like scca and stuff like that

I think that it is not really marring of any kind, rather the angle in which the pic was taken...But I could be wrong.
