Location, Location, Location!

Nah, I'm not lost, but.......
It would be helpful if more people would put where they are located in their profile.
It then shows up in the left column of your post.
No big deal, but it is kinda nice to know where people are located.
That way I don't make the mistake of bad-mouthing anyone close enough to come over and punch me in the mouth. :D

:lmfao :rolling That's a good one!

I think it makes good sense to post your location in your profile. I always look over to check the location of the poster. I guess it just a habit.

It really helps to see what type of weather/climate the vehicle(s being worked on) are being subjected to. Nice to know your neighbors too. :wait

Yep, what he said!!! I notice that most people are concerned about "beading". Well here in PHX, where we rarely get rain, beading is not an issue, but protection from the suns damaging rays, is of more concern.

I'm trying to locate / hook up with some detailers here in the PHX area, and haven't had much luck. Are there any of you out there? Looking at the cars on the road & in parking lots, it would seem that there is a definite dearth of detailers. Either that or a real lack of interest on people's parts to take care of their cars.

It might just be a coincidence, but it does seem like a lot of members are now putting their location in their profile.

Like I said, no big deal, but it is kinda nice to know where people are located.

Thanks,
Charles

<----- checking to see if location is there.
Yeah, it's there, but some of us dummies don't know where "High Sierras" might be.
Probably California, maybe Nevada. :dunno
Out here in Iowa, we aren't too familiar with mountains.

Thought maybe with so many new members, this might remind you to let us know your location. Just put it in your profile and it shows up in the left column.
Not a requirement, just nice to have. :)

Yes, and it also allows people to recommend different products to you based on your location as well as direct you to distributors and other detailers in your area. It's a win-win situation. :)

So, c'mon, fess up & tell us where you live!! Nobody's gonna show up uninvited and drink all your beer:lol

i agree, we might even find that members live very close together and sometimes it fun to get together with a friend and have a detail day :)

Australia, Im pretty much one of very few from the land down under. Unless any DC members are thinking of holidaying?!? :lol

I initially had it as "3rd rock from the sun" as I figured I was at a disadvantage when entering the monthly give-aways I was entering - I mean who wants to give away a freebie and then have to send it to Australia?!?

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

from Clark County IL (Land of Lincoln)

Charles I added it in the profile. Thank You

Norah- I have heard good things about European auto detailing...I wanna say it is on Camelback rd. in phx. There is/was a shop over by 40th st. and indian school rd. On the corner next to Petes Fish and chips...Some VERY nice cars roll in and out of there, I cant remember for the life of me what that place was called.

Oh and anything in Scottsdale HAS to be good right
lol
