I detailed a car and posted pics on Houston-Imports.com. My PM box has been flooded over there. I got an unbelievable amount of interest from doing this. I just wanted to let you guys know of the great response I received from doing this. Here is the link with pics as well:

craigslist is a joke..nothing but price shoppers.....

"how much"

about 240 for your SUV full detail, 190 for a less involved detail, and 90 for just a wash and wax"

"you cant do it for 100 full detail?"

no, my idea of a full detail is not just a wash and wax, but a full exterior cleaning, polishing, protecting, and same for the interior - it will take about 6-8 hours of my time."

"ok thanks, someone else said yes for 100"

Anybody tried advertising in Craigslist.com ?

Huge waste of time unless you like to compete with guys that do full details ( what they feel is a full detail) for $35- 50 . Its a joke over there ,if you want a good laugh go read some of the ads. Like TG said there's nothing but price shoppers on Craigslist.

hmm I'm 50/50 for pulling my full detail on craigslist. Yeah they all start out as priceshoppers. Don't sell them a price sell them on your value and service.

In my opinion, Craigslist is not really a waste of time. How much time does it take to a post an ad over there...maybe 2, or 3 minutes? It's free too...so you really have nothing to loose.

Yeah there are some pretty powerful ones out but not many. He set this car up for the road course. Its a 91 and I believe at only has around 3x,xxx miles. A VERY large portion of those are track miles. It is pretty much a track only car.

Yeah, the NSX is a great platform, the one here in town can do everything, mostly road race, but drags occasionally. The motors are great in the car, as he runs 10:1 compression on the turbos..
