I just picked up a LGM (heated) the other day and it came with a trial size of the bissell cleaner. Do you guys use this cleaner for cars, if not what do you use?
Thanks

I used it for my previous car and it worked great - especially the back as I had a wagon. I even spilled some gas back there and the GM sucked it up pretty good although I had to use baby oil to get it out. My car smelled like babys for a month, but it was better than gasoline and the girls loved it!
For the cleaning I use a mixture of OxyClean/APC/hot water and pretreat with 303 Upholstery Cleaner (well documented "sticky" by GSRStilez). For extraction plain old hot water works just fine.

i actually just bought one also. i used the trial cleaner and was satisfied with it. i was always taught to use non foaming products in an extractor as the foam can get into areas it shouldn't. it may be false but my extractors have lasted several years at a time. i beleive in preventitive maintenance.
