Tri-state area NYC, LI, Nothern NJ and Ct. I travel usually about 50 miles max but make exceptions every now and then and my friends think I am nuts.

Newbie or geriatric, what differance does it make when a valid question was asked?? Why is there liability in posting a list?

The liability lies in if someone goes to a detailer that was recomended by an officially sanctioned Autopia list and then that detailer ends up stealing the car or damaging something or some other problem, then Autopia becomes a responsible party for even suggesting them. Without some sort of screening or qualification process or disclaimer in place, then Autopia really can't endorse local detailers without the potential to be put in difficult situations.

Magic Touch Auto Detailing, Braintree MA (20 min south of Boston).

Sqard: When I started my business, I wanted to use the name Attention To Detail. At the last minute, I changed to Magic Touch. I just thought it was a funny coincidence. :up

Just wanted to say "Hi". I was born in Quincy & lived there 34 years before moving here to Wext Texas. I sure do miss it up there. Do you know if "Buff-n-Stuff" is still in Quincy?

Do you miss the snow too? :D

I've never heard of Buff-n-Stuff, so I assume it isn't still around. I know of maybe 7-8 shops in Braintree, Weymouth and Quincy. Nice to see someone from the area, though!
