Liquid Souveran - leave on overnight?

Anyone ever leave Liquid Souveran on overnight? If so, how'd it turn out? Was it difficult to remove then?
 
I'm not sure why you would want to. I've always just buffed it off after I take a break. Its not a sealant so its not really going to help a whole lot to leave it on overnight. I hesitate to leave anything on overnight just because dust and bugs will get caught in it and that could leave a less than perfect finish when you buff it off. Its a tiny concern, but obviously not one that should keep you from trying it. If I did more detailing at night where I could leave it on overnight and then buff it off in the morning then I might try it. I'm not really in the mood to buff product off at 5 am though. :lol
 
Well, the reason I ask is because tonight I will rush home from work and wash the truck and I will have enough daylight to probably put it on but not take it off. My thoughts were that it should still have some cure time so that I could put on another coat sometime during the day tomorrow. I could remove tonight what I could - if there is some daylight left. So I'm just trying to squeeze in as much as I can tonight.
 
Hey keee! When I was doing my multi layer UPPnization there were many a time I was wiping off UPP in the dark. My neighbors did question my sanity. I'd wipe the entire car down then check the next day for misses. I don't think it would hurt to leave it on at night but you might be inviting dust to collect on your car. Just an opinion.
 
Sounds like it should work then Rick. I think my biggest problem is I'm trying to fight nature on this one. What are the odds!
 
I'd also recommend wiping it off in the dark and then getting the missed spots tomorrow. I don't think you want to leave it on all night.

Why not, though? That is the question he is asking. Why wouldn't he want to leave it on all night? What are the downsides? The only down side I can think of is just dust. I don't know that is really an issue if its in a garage or something. I guess it could be harder to buff off, but I doubt that it is really going to be that hard. We've all done worse I'm sure.

I see this question all the time. Go ahead and give it a shot and tell us all how it worked so we can put it to bed already. :lol
 
Lol; I too find myself waxing at night. I suppose I need to be more thorough with my removal process since I find quite a bit of residue later. Old wax is a b*tch to buff off.
