Lint from 100% Cotton Towel

I recently bought a high quality 100% combed egyptian cotton bath towel to use for drying car (still in the process of ordering waffle weave MF towel from Pakshak). The problem is the 100% cotton towel produce a lot of fine lints, especially when wiping the glass. When i see the lints on the glass, i really don't like it for drying. I thinking of using it to remove polish/wax but would the lints cause any problem ?

have you tried washing them a couple of times? its worked for me.

Although with waffle weave drying towels and micro fibre, im not using towels that often now.
