Line-up 1 vs Line-up 2, You Decide

OK I'm starting to figure out some of the code you guys speak in and begninning to learn which products are good. Here are two line-ups I'm deciding between, I would appreciate knowing your opinion on the comparison. For now I plan on working by hand, and a synthetic sealant makes sense to me over a carnauba wax since it lasts longer and (hopefully it has accelerant) cures much faster. If any of my waxes are not synthetic or don't have the 1-hour cure time please let me know. Thanks!

Line-Up #1

Steps:

1) Optimum Polish

2) Optimum PoliSeal

3) 303 on Vinyl and exterior trim

4) stoners glass cleaner

5) Optimum Tire shine for tires

6) Lexol cleaner & conditioner for leather

Line-Up #2

Steps:

1) AIO

2) Klasse Sealer Glaze

3) Duragloss Aquawax

(303 and down same as above)

The above line-ups are for my regular maintenance. Since this is for a new car I'm assuming I don't need to use Optimum compound, and can go straight to the polish. If you disagree let me know. Actually unless I have swirls or marrs I'm hoping to even be able to skip the polish/AIO step. Does this sound OK, and is AIO like a polish (I'm assuming the SG is the actual sealant so the AIO is more of a polish)? If I keep a healthy coat of sealant wax on the car from day 1 do I even ever need to polish?

Last, the brand new car requires some special attention before I go to my maintenace routine. For that I plan to do this. You can comment on this too if you see something wrong, but my main concern now is to get my maintenance line-up sorted out. Thank you!

For New Car (one time):

1) rinse

2) decontaminate with fallout remover, do this instead of claying

3) wash and dry

4) use paint cleaner (do I need this step?)

5) unless swirls or marrs, skip polish and go straight to synthetic sealant wax

6) Maybe top with Aquawax or similar

7) Rest same as maintenance beginning with the 303 for trim and dash

The 2 line ups you're showing aren't really equivalent

Line up 1 is: Polish then an All-In-One

Line up 2 is: All-In-One, sealant, and sealant.

You really have alot of flexibility in the products you mention. The only restriction would be if you want to use Klasse SG, you should use Klasse AIO.

I would say:

1. Optimum Polish if you have swirls then

2. Use an AIO

a. Optimum Poliseal or

b. Klasse AIO

3. Add a sealant

a. Aquawax (on either option above) or

b. Klasse SG only if you used Klasse AIO

I will only talk about #2 because I have not used the stufff in #1

first thinks first a sealant needs time to cure a wax not so much

the KSG requires 12 hrs. of cure time between coats

AIO is easy to use and will help the SG bond better it does little polishing

but is a good chemical cleaner

AW is a great booster after a wash

I don't know about fallout remover

but I would just clay

try the search because most of this has been covered

and there is a lot more info out there

Can both PoliSeal and AIO be applied to trim and bumpers? It's nice to use something I don't need to worry about staining those areas.

Take lineup #1 and add the Aquawax as a topper between washes, it look great on Poli Seal. If you like your tires to have a satin finish, use the 303 on them, works great.

I'm not sure about the PoliSeal, but AIO works well on trim
