Limited NXT Available NOW!

Ordered 2 bottles of Tech Wax this morning. I'm anxious to see how this stuff performs, aside from the demo you gave us in October in St. Louis.

Thanks for the info. Mike!

Just placed my order for NXT, spray wax, and wash. Now, who do I call to place an order for highs in the mid-50's next weekend so I can try it out? :D

Amen to that!! I need some of that too. My order is in. :bigups Hopefully next weekend is nice enough for me to strip some stuff off the 'teg and try this out. Winter is a great time to test durability. I don't want to have to wait another 11 months to do that. ;)

I would've expected 20 cases to run out a lot sooner, considering that someone mentioned 2 cases emptied within the first hour of yesterday. Well I got some so no complaints here. :)

w00t! I just orded a bottle of the wax! Hopefully this will hide all my nasty imperfections until I get a PC..hehehe.

I'm going to try using the NXT directly ontop of my Klasse AIO/SG x2 to see what happens. (Cause I don't feel like stripping it off right now, lol). Ooooh can't wait. Maybe I'll go to Autozone and say....

"neeener neeener neeener you don't have this!" hhehe

ps: Thanks mike...you are the coolest internet person I don't know ever.:bow

Like many others who frequent these types of forums I am excited to see a new product that I would like to try. Whether it is all hype or not I am going to give it a shot.

Anyway, I have a few questions before I run out and buy it.

1) NXT Wax: I know it is synthetic but is there any idea of durablility and beading ability compare to the other synthetics we all know and love (UPP, Klasse, ZAINO and the like)? Also, can it be layedred and is there any benefit to layering as far as POP, appearance and durability are concerned? Would you recommend it for wheels (Alloy, chrome or painted)?

2) NXT Protectant: Is it a cleaner/Protectant? Is it a matte, semi gloss or glossy finish? What is the UV protection compared to say 303 or Lexol? Can it be used on leather?

3) NXT Car wash: Is it as good as others and why?

4) NXT Quick dtail: Same as above?

I guess what I am getting at is with all of the great products out there (UPP, ZAINO, PB line, regular Megs Line ect.) why would we all want to try this stuff? I have seen the results on another board as well as here but I think I need to be "sold".

Is it really all marketing hype as others have suggested?

Anyone know what I mean?

Hey, here's my take. I'm cheap, but I'll pay for good stuff. So far, I've seen that NXT does a great job via Mike P's pics, so I decided to buy a bottle and try it. You are asking for specifics that really aren't availiable yet because autopia's hordes of opinionated masses haven't had a chance to put NXT through it's paces. I think that many of your questions about it will be answered soon, BECAUSE of the people who are going out and buying it to try it.

So, I'd say either take the plunge or wait until the reviews come in. As for the other 3 products, I don't think anyone has touched them so there is little to no info about them yet. I didn't buy any of those because I am going to wait patiently for reviews (reviews answering just what you are asking) from everyone else who tries them.

Do what you will.....

I guess I'll jump into the fold. Bought one of each Tech Wax, Spray Wax, and Tech Protectant. Again Mike Thanks!

I would love to order some, but WHY!?! I already have a BRAND NEW PC 7424 and Water Blade that I can't use until April! I should just let warm-state Autopians to the good stuff....and I will pick some up when its on the shelves. :(

Signed,

Detail-less in MN

(but we did get back above 0 degrees today and yesterday! 18 today, I think)

Thats my point. Even on the Megs site there is no specific info on these products. Everyone is talking about the Mike Phillips pics. They are the wax only. What about the rest?

You know what Bimmer? I am a sucker and probably will. I have been an enthusiast lunatic for a year now and I dont even want to add up what I have spent. And I havent even gotten a PC yet!!!!!!!!

Looks like you can order from the website as well... It says "Available Now"!!!

I just talked to the guy in charge of customer care and he said that you can order on line but the free shipping deal only applies to phone in orders when you mention Mike’s name.

He also said that they are down to 4-5 cases of each product so the deal may not last until Saturday at 3pm....

Mike and Lynn...Any chance you would like to adopt a 32 yr old? I can cook! :D

You are a little too old to be one of our kids, I am only 36. Maybe if you were 4 or 5, then you could play with our son Rand. ;)

I don't think Mike would like it much if I started adopting guys in their 30's...:)

Here's a shot of the same front fender taken only a few moments ago out in the sun.

This is after buffing with a rotary buffer and the W-8006/#83 DACP combo, followd by the PC with a W-8006/#83 DACP combo.

This is one coat of NXT.

(Note the white lab coat... I had to have a someone else pull the car out for me)
