Like Tony Montana says, "This one I do for fun" carpet extraction video

Been having some fun with my mytee HP60 carpet extractor lately.

1994 Honda Civic w/ 237k miles.

I picked this beater up till our new car arrives in April. Clear coat gone from all horizontal surfaces. :heelclick

If I was keeping it long term, I would of just replaced the carpet. The carpets look better, but not by much. Seats still need extracted and plastics cleaned. I'll get to it sooner or later...

Vac, compressed air, brush and vac again.

Pretreated with Biokleen TLC and bac-out. Brush, let sit for 10 mins and extract multi times. I did that process 4 times.

gmblack3- Hey, I bet it's comforting to know how much [stuff] you got out of there! A lot less of the traveling in a biohazard effect, huh?

I love beater car details.....if you get a chance, post up anything else you do to it.

I agree. Polishing new cars is nice, but saving beaters and abused cars really stretches our talent and creativity! Those are the most impressive jobs!

Brad B- I just wish my beater projects were as nice as your 4Runner! Heh heh, I bet it's not really even in the "beater" category any more :grinno:

Laugh all you want, but it works if you've gotten all the dirt you can get out of it.

That might be the best plan here.

Not much clear left on the flat panels, might polish some of the glass.

No potential here for the paint.

Interesting thought Accum! I have some CQ, but will it work if the clear coat is gone?

I have used OC on single stage and it works just fine. Don't know about CQ, I have some but haven't used it in that context.

I also seem to recall a thread from a detailer over in Asia somewhere (Malaysia, perhaps?) who used it on a deck lid with failing clear and it did a pretty good job of masking the damage so you'd have to look pretty hard to find it.

The title to the thread could of also been called "Say Hello to my Little Friend"

Did Bret sell you this one? :cooleek:

I will give it a try if I can find some spare time.

The awesomeness of your Honda is hard to put into words. Did you send a sample of that extraction to Blackstone Labs for analysis?

Dont hate da bling. :) It was a close contest between the oil that came out and extraction juice to which was darker looking.
