I've got some more work to do on this. I need to get the wheel wells...I didn't realize how poor they looked 'til I saw some of the fotos :nervous2: Next weekend...there's always next weekend :)

I'll grab a few more pictures on a less-overcast day so you can see the remarkable shine.

*WIMM - washing induced micro marring :p

The top picture above is the real "money shot". That's exactly how thin 1000P should be applied. Thin and evenly. Doesn't get any better than that shot. Perfectly applied = the perfect results you see in the subsequent pictures.

Thanks, Bobby. Wait 'til we get some fotos when the sun is out - - then it really shines. Here's a shot from the last go-around:

Here's a shot of the beading taken in June, approx 6 weeks after my initial application of the 1000p. See how the beading is kind of lame:

The beading appears very different this time around, FWIW.

Tom P.- It's hard to know what to expect from sealants with regard to beading, but that "six weeks after" shot does look mighty dead. Sounds like it kept protecting just fine though.

Agreed. But the beading is very different this time...much more in line with what I'd expect. The beading last time looked very weak, even right after it was applied leading me to believe I had not adequately stripped the surface. I'm not complaining, it's just an observation. And I do agree with what you said - - this product looks like it would endure far beyond that magical 6 month threshold we seek :)

Very nice! I just started using 1000P and love it. I'm glad you are having such great durability. If it lasts for me as well as it does for most folks on this board, this will definitely be my go-to LSP for a long time!

The beading has been very impressive. However, I'm only going on about a month or so, so we'll see how well it lasts. I just added a second layer last weekend.

Yeah, the 1000p should be listed in the Autopia Hall of Fame. Problem is, there are so many great products we can chose from. I believe the 1000P has that slight edge in appearance and longevity compared to the competition to make it truly great.
