I have a little green proheat machine. The one with the heater and turbo brush. Are there any how tos for this thing? I mean I know how to use it but I wanna get what I can out of it if I can. Just looking for tips and techniques and such. I bought it mainly for floor mats and small/medium spots/stains.

Thanks!

The Turbo brush is pretty useless - I like to spray the carpet with a light mist of folex, hit it with a brush (a Cyclo brush on a PC does a great job) and then extract with a LGCM, hot water and a little bit of solution (I go halfway to the line). Zep extractor shampoo is the way to go - it's only 7 bucks a gallon at home depot and it smells better than Bissell and performs comprably, IMHO.

Tim, what dont you know man?? You are a very knowledgeable detailer man, youve indirectly helped me out alot , this time I felt like tellin ya! Thanks for the tip on Zep shampoo! and cyclo brushes!

Where can I get a cyclo brush for my PC? Also do you spray the solution/hot water as you drag the nozzle or spray it down a bit then drag it?

You can get Cyclo carpet brushes at Top of the Line, Autogeek, Danase... they've recently gotten popular, it used to be that only TOL had them.

I like to spray over the area then drag, then spray while dragging over tough spots, than go over the whole area without a spray for 2-3 passes to get as much out as possible.
