As for the patterns, you can use a shop vac/extractor OR pick up a soft bristled carpet brush and create the patterns by hand.
 
Fantastic job on a fantastic car! Here is an interesting little bit of trivia about the LS' paint. Lexus had developed the paint quality to a point that it was so perfectly free of "orange peel" that they actually have to screw up the paint a little at the factory. The reason? If a part of the car ever needed to be repainted (perhaps due to a collision) most body shops would never be able to duplicate it. And I think that is VERY cool. :xyxthumbs
