Chad,
Stunning paint after your correction ! Interior looks like brand new again !
Absolutely perfect work, Chad ! I had a new IS350 for about 2 years, and the paint on these cars is really nice when taken to the "just out of the paintbooth and still wet" look you did to this poor girl. Another example of run hard, and put away wet, saved from the glue-factory !
Need to learn more about Gtechniq P2 product........
Thanks for sharing another beautiful example of what professional care can accomplish !

Thanks Dan!
This was actually the first car I've done with the GTechniq P2. It's a really fine swirl removing polish for delicate paints. Their P1 is similar to M86 Solo polish in that the level of cut depends on the pad. GTechniq says P1 should be all you need but I picked up both just for those soft touchy paints. I need some more seat time with them before giving a solid review, but it did work very well in this application. :soldier:
Honestly, I'm very happy with my Megs/Menz polishes and I really only bought them for "coating" applications. I'm told they're water based with no fillers/oils and they say no IPA wipe-downs are needed with them prior to using their C1 coating. I personally hate using IPA on paint, and prior to applying OC on this car I just gave it a good wash with CGCW and some OPC.
