Hi everyone... I posted a few pics over on the main board of my 2001 Lexus GS300 and wanted to share some more here. Washed, clayed, #9 2.0, AIO x2, SG x2... Enjoy!

clean tire, rim <span class='bbc_underline'>and wheel well (after the comments AlBoston got on his IS300 wheel well, I made sure mine were clean before posting on here!)

gotta love 303 and Lexol. Great interior combo! First interior shot is in the main detailing section.

last one... after only 2 applications of sg, I'm still quite happy with the reflection. The only odd thing was that the paint seemed just slightly less slick after using the SG. It's still very smooth... it sat for 10 hours before final buffing.

Nice work, looks terrific. You mean not as slick as after AIO? If so I know what you mean but the SG you can layer and 4,5 or 6 coats of SG looks better than 1. Also I found Wizard’s mist ‘n shine QD (buff out with MF towel) works great with SG.

Sweet!

What did you use on the tires?? very nice black look (I prefer medium gloss of Vinylex, but will adapt to the car being detailed like a nice black MB E430 will need a natural sheen (Automotive International's rubber protector watered down and buffed) or a high gloss for a light colored car but there are exceptions for tire dressings.)

Jason -- I used Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss and let it sit overnight before finally buffing with a towel. I was very surprised to see the end result as usually I end up leaving the oily stuff on, thinking it looks better with a shiny gloss.

After seeing your's and other's posts where they buff the tires after application, I had to try it myself!

Cool!

If you want shiny that lasts try TW 2001 tire gel that DETAILKING loves. Applied Saturday, been through a light shower and a down pour. It was actually driven during the down pour. I'll snap some pictures Saturday.
