Lexol for leather jacket?

Just curious, but can Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner be used for cleaning leather jackets? Both bottles say not to use on glove soft leather, but I don't really see how a black leather jacket is different than black leather seats? Just curious.

Thanks,
Neil

They are different types of leather. Gloves and jackets could very well be made out of lamb skin or even goat skin instead of cow hide. It is also likely not dyed or clear coated. Automotive leather is much different than leather jackets. They sell conditioners at Wilsons and places like that for jackets. I would strongly suggest using that instead of an automotive leather product.

I have some Wilson's leather cleaner also, but a lot more of the Lexol, and it is less expensive for the amount. Just wanted to see if I could use the Lexol for more than just the car since I don't have leather in my car and neither does the wife. I bought it a couple of years ago to do my brother-in-law's car (which he no longer has). I think the wife wants leather in her next car, so it should get used up then, especially with an infant in the car!!

Thanks,
Neil
