Levelers/ Polish?

Why are some polishing products called "Levelers" (High-T Extreme Cut for example) while others are called polishes (Menzerna PO106FF for example) ?

I have been considering them all polishes, just that some are for Deep correction up to Light correction/final polish, am I looking at something wrong?

There is no standard terminology in the industry. Different companies use words differently. Some make up their own.

The best you can do is to ignore the titles and learn what the products actually do.

You're right

They do different things

Levelers, level the paint and remove all scratches, deep marring and oxidation, compounds remove scratches and the heavy swirls while polishes and finishing polishes remove all swirls, restore and enhance the gloss.
