i would think clear also, i've heard people say that wet sanding can cure orange peel

but only if the peel is in the clear, right? If it's in the base coat, you'd have to take it all the way down and build it back up.



It's probably so prevalent nowadys because of manufacturers using powder-coat paints that are baked on rather than a liquid based paint that's cured. Bummer...

Yeah, the orange peel is depressing If I could be certain that wet sanding would cure it, I would consider doing it, but I would want to shoot more clear on it afterwards...
