let's talk oil

Just out of curiosity, what's everyone running for oil/filters in their cars?

The wife's Fusion and my Ram have both gotten Mobil 1 since the day we bought em

I am hearing on some boards that penzoil and Valvoline are better now than mobil 1, but it's always done me well

I have using Motorcraft (used to be a very good deal at Walmart) in car and now Pennzoil in the truck. Unless you have some turbo super high output engine (and you drive it that way), I do not think it matters what brand if you change in properly and use the recommended viscosity API approved oil. You really do not hear about oil related motor failures. Even sludging is not the issue it used to be except on specific motors (design issue). Some BITOG are now debating specs like NOACK as it was the end all spec since oil is just that good now.

I ran mobil 1 and Wix filters in the past. Now my wifes Dodge Journey gets whatever the dealer puts in it(service contract). Motorcraft oil and filter for the Mustang.

I'm not picky. I have use Valvoline, Mobil 1, Quaker State in my car. Early on it was regular and now I use synthetic.

The wife's car needs some f#%*}=ing special VW ISO stuff and only Castrol has it around here in quarts only. Blanking expensive.

My Camaro is supposed to use a synthetic blend but since full synthetic is the same price my car gets Mobil1 and for oil filters I switched to K&N filters.

BMW was the same. Special oil... Don't remember if Audi was or not, but that didn't last long

for my pick up, I use whatever name brand full synthetic is on sale and ford motorcraft oil filters. don't drive as much as I used to, but still change the oil/filter every 3k miles or so.
usually use mobil-1 20W-50 in my Harley and Harley or K&N oil filters.

Yeah this seems to be the latest thing by GM on new cars.

My 02 Camaro SS came with Mobil 1 from the factory so this one gets Mobil 1.

My 99 Grand Prix has seen Quaker State Synthetic the last 2 oil changes.

Mobil 1 for me. Some one should make this the next poll. Would be interesting to see the results.

I've run Mobil 1 in my '06 Jeep GC since it was new. C7 same thing (although dealer provided freebie for the first two years). No issues so I'll stick with it.
