Let's share some Leatherique Techniques

I've normally done the whole - heat, let it soak and let the heat work it's magic with Rejuventor Oil.



Prior to this, I usually do a vac and wipedown with a wet microfiber the day before.



In a recent post, there was a blurb about a quick rundown with the steamer and then a nice douse of conditioner while it's pores are open.

I generally do the vac/wipe and the conditioner the following day as I prefer the leather to be dry when applying so that it soaks the maximum it can.



However the idea of the steamer/pore opening in intriguing and I just may try this when the weather get's warmer. Anyone else doing a Steamer/Leatherique combo ? Noticing more effective results than just without the steamer. Inquiring minds interested in knowing.

Leather does not have pores and heating the leather will make no difference. As most auto leathers are coated leathers they do not absorb products only moisture and it is totally impossible to clean from the inside out.



Leather care is quick and simple with the correct products and there is simply no need for such a long winded time consuming system which has no added benefits.
