Well I'm a 17 in Toronto, and am absolutly obsessed with washing my family's fleet of cars.. (+ relatives, I have ~12 cars to detail)



Just picked this up this morning:

As you can see, I've got a package from "OCD garage " and mind you, this was with my own money that I earned from working at the pool as lifeguard, and instructor. Unfortunatly, I missed my summer session training due to conflicting times with my exams, and therefore out of work for the next two months. Whether this was a sign from God or not, I decided that THIS is the time to drop my money into a 'good' investment.



Thanks to many members on this forum (Picus in particular :bigups ) I'm now offically HOOKED on this addictive hobby!



--- My thoughts on this 'freebie giveaway' is that it is a good idea... however, just simply 'giving' products to a teenager in general isn't too bright an idea, as many lack committment. Hopefully those helped by the generous fellows on this caring community will praise thanks and help out others in the future.

You make a good point. I've always and will continue to do my best to help out others and give helpful advice on autopia.org. Many thanks goes to rotts4u for his original idea :)
 
I like this idea too; thanks to BMWWW for alerting me to this thread. I'd be happy to help young local detailers or anyone with a real dedication to making this a profession. Cheers.

I just turned 19, detailing cars as a side business thing right now :P

TBH, not to smash this idea, it'd be even better if some of the more experienced guys got together with us and actually showed us how to use some of these products

1. you can see whether so and so is actually dedicated or not

2. we learn how to use stuff properly to get results
 
im 21. i used to come here about 1-2 years ago when i had a nissan sentra. the paint was already sun damaged so i temp. got into detailing.



now i have a honda crv (with good paint!) and im determined to keep this one shinning!
