Let's get serious...Let's discuss product smells

Goods: The Victoria waxes smell wonderful (almonds, pineapply-melon, red fruits), but I like NXT paste, FK1 185/217 (grape), FX-100 & 425 (bubble gums), TWPUG liquid (light coconutty accents), Mother Showtime (cinnamon), OCW (carnauba), Mothers Liquid Carnauba (bubble gum with mild carnauba background).

Average scents: Z2Pro (pleasant almondy traces), #26 paste (banana-but-synthetic), FK1 2180 (clean swimming pool), Mothers Reflections (average cologne), #21 (fruity thinner).

Bads: I absolutely hate RMG; it has a dead animal smell. The entire Carlack line is awful (tar factory), alongside FK1 Pink.

Not pleasant but not disturbing either: ONR, Collinites (solventy carnauba), Sonax Xtreme1 paste (similar carnauba, but different solvent), etc.

Before the likes and dislikes, I always find it funny (and worrysome) that whenever someone new smells the mist from a wheel acid, they start choking and there I am kneeling down spraying away oblivious to the death that I am inhaling.

Likes

-many of the collinite waxes, especially Marque d'elegance

-Malco Appeal dressing. I wish they'd make an air freshener from it (coconut?)

-Malco Carpet and Upholstery (mint)

-ECP fantastic 4our tire dressing- like baseball card bubble gum

-Laquer thinner - ooooh pretty colors

-Clay magic clay lube (more coconut)

-Sprayaway glass cleaner

Dislikes

-Malco Target Degreaser. Tastes bad too. I was stuck at a site working once and was out and had someone bring some by. He put it in a vitamin water bottle and yup- I took a swig without thinking. Instant vomit.

-Jobe RWC

-Mequiars clear plastic window cleaner (old cheese)

DG bonding agent smells like elmers glue to me

I realized, this is what Aquawax smelled like as well. I can't say I really liked it, since it brought back memories of how much of a failure I back in elementary school with all the "art" they forced on me :(

DG bonding agent smells like something from the barber shop when I was a kid back in the 60's, don't know what it was, maybe some scalp treatment my Dad got but that's my take. Good stuff though!

Adams detial spray (reguardless of how well people think it works) smells utterly delightful.

I frequently sniff my souveran, and mothers paste waxes.

I carry a small bottle of gold class shampoo with me at all times, when im feeling down or blue it cheers me up, I close my eyes and it takes me to a foamy, soapy wonderland with clean walls and floors you could eat off of.

Zaino z-16 reminds me of a bowl of delicious grapes,

and I put my buddies XMT line in a basket on the table, and when my lady asked me what the hell it was i told her it was a fruit basket she then kicked me out for a day. such a vilent reaction over somthing so beautiful . . .

No matter how hard i try, i cannot find simple green pleasing. i halft to cover my face with my shirt when i spray it.

while were on that note - anyone ever inhale simple green, hehehe. yeah not a fun time.

optimum and menzurna smells repulsive, but they works . i like it.

automagic xp express wax smells nice, alog with their bodyshine . . .

ill stop now.

adams detail spray. everytime i use it, i have to force myself not to take a tiny sip...just to see.

edit: i just got a big order in the mail. Decided to smell them all. The only product that smelled pretty good was PB's wheel sealant.

Both products are pink as well.:nixweiss

i didnt even see your post right above mine.

The detail spray works fine for me. Gets the job done. Nothing worth writing home about though. I have some of their yellow clay, still unused, and im pretty sure its the Erazer clay everybody wants, and the detail spray came with it.
