New version of Opti-Coat coming out, Pro 3. Layerable coating that actually film builds. Two layers of Base Coat, two layers of Top Coat. This is on my 2004 6 speed G35 sedan. Usual prep as of late, ONR wash, clay/Ferrex (didn`t need much at all, I`d had Pro Plus on it the last 3 years), Oberk Supreme Cut, Optimum Hyper Polish. The Paint Prep and started layering on the Pro 3. And sorry, but it is not a do it yourself coating. Pictures don`t really do it justice.

Ferrari 488. Two step correction and Opti-Coat Pro last year, just an exterior wash (and coating inspection) plus interior detail.

1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am. First Indy Pace car that needed no modifications to meet the demands on Indy. Grossly underrated at 250 hp so as not to embarrass the Corvette. 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, mid 13s at 101 mph in the quarter, 162 mph top speed. 1500 made, all were white with a saddle interior.

Prepped this one for Dallas Autorama next month. Didn`t do anything with the interior as he needs to get new tires to replace the 8 year old ones on the car and a couple minor mechanical things sorted out. So I`ll go back out a few days before the show to wash it again, apply Hyper Seal once more and go over the interior-which really doesn`t need much anyway.

SCOTTWAX!!!!! Welcome back, Autopian All-Star. You have been the subject of many "Whatever happened to Scottwax?" inquiries in various threads in this forum.

Nice to see you are still doing great work. Love the red Ferrari 488, but who doesn`t if you are a true automobile aficionado.

You are one of the few remaining Optimum Pro Coating "detailing installers". I see you mention Oberk Supreme Cut. Don`t know much about this product line.

Are you still biking these days? (Yah, lots of "other" questions as well, but needing to subdue my reputation as "Captain Obvious: the man of a thousand questions")

There`s quite a few authorized and certified Opti-Coat installers. Now that Dr. G has beaten his illness and back at the helm (as of early last year), there`s going to be a plethora of great things coming from Optimum.

I found out about Oberk from someone on another board (not detailing related) who is a chemist for the company and he sent me some to test a few years ago. Combined with their microfiber cutting pads, the cut is excellent and so is the finish.

Still riding, but only 3100 or so miles this year. Did get about 105,000` elevation gain though. Just stayed busy all year, who knew people working from home would be so good for my business?

Scott, as a long time Autopia member, I am very happy to see you back !!!!! You are such an inspiration to me, and I am sure, many other Autopians !!!! Please keep posting and showing all of your Awesome work !!!

Great to see you back Scott from another old time Autopian. Always awesome work.

Hey Scottwax, welcome back!
By chance I stumbled your older YT videos on using ONR, probably the one of the first ONR videos and still relevant. If you have the chance maybe you could post some updated process/technique for ONR wash/wheel wash.

Your return is long overdue and I am very happy to witness it. Your car and the others look spectacular as expected.
