Less expensive products that have REALLY made a difference?

Some more items that I really put to good use that are cheap have occured to me:

Bucket that was premarked with gallon and liter measurements

medicine measuring cup for measuring chemicals.

Very fine misting sprayers (FK web site). I have been using much less OCW, AW, 303 and QD since I purchased these.

[quote name='ThEGuN']1st I like to thank AL-53 for always recommending me OTC supplies:

Vroom (MF's): grey: very soft and plush ...

Just picked up a 4 pack of the Vroom grey's at Target - very nice, plush and soft for $6.99! Nice feelin' towels!

thumbs up for the vroom MFs - great for QDs and glass at the least

Meg's GC shampoo was like $8 for a gallon at costco and it suds like crazy!

AA tire gel ($6-7) leaves a great clean shine that hold up for a couple weeks

stoner's IG - your glass isn't truly clean without it!

and even thought it costs a little more, good ol' klasse AIO is a great value for your dollar because of all that it does

I love this stuff because as much as I want to drop major $$$ on boutique products, I can't always afford that luxury. keep the thread alive for the frugal detailers!

Cheap but quality accessories make a big difference.

I would mention : Cobra microfibers, OXO brushes, Eurow mitts, Hozelock sprayers ...

And there are also qualitative chemicals that don't break the bank: Autoglym, Chemical Guys, Poorboy's World come to my mind.

I got a big jug of turtle wax ice car wash at GTM for like 5 bucks 2 years ago. I still have it actually. I been trying to use up other washes first. But I love the stuff, it suds up really nice and is super slick. Ill definitely buy more if I can find it in that size.
