length between wheel wax coats?

for paint they say wait about a day, well ive been using poorboys wheel sealant ( :2thumbs: ) and was wondering how long i should wait between coats? I plan on putting three coats.

Good question. I've never waited - I usually apply two light coats, pretty much back-to-back. The reason for the second coat is just to make sure I didn't miss any spots. I'll apply to both wheels on a side, then remove, then repeat. Depending on the weather, I seem to get 4-6 weeks of durability.

Some folks have mentioned that PB wheel sealant - and Wheel Wax for that matter - make their wheels look better. I haven't found that to be true. In my experience it doesn't do anything for the appearance of the finish, but it sure protects it.

It seems it like it may have hid a few of the scratches in the polished part of the wheel, or it could just be that the sun went down haha.

my wheels are off the car, switching to my privats and taking off the stocks with the snow tires. springs here :dance

but the scratches in the lip make me :hairpull :angry

i've noticed scratch hiding with wheel wax, it's one of my favorite features of the product!
