Leatherique question

I have used leatherique with great success. However, I have come upon a clients vehicle whose seats are like a rock. I did the normal treatment (dwell time 6 hours in hot sun), but the seats are still pretty hard. Is there a maximum time you can leave this stuff on for? He is going out of town this weekend, and if it is ok, I was thinking to leave on the entire time. Is there any benefit to leaving on so long? Any harm?

I have used a heavy coating of leatherique on the seats before storing my car for winter before. I placed large garbarge bags over the front seats so I could pull in and back out. In the spring I backed the car out and let it sit in the sun a couple hours, removed the bags, wiped the seats down to remove the excess, and then gave them a final buff with a clean towel. No problems at all.

The hardness is the old dye. I have a '91 BMW 535 that had rock hard leather. I lightly wetsanded them usung the leatherique dye prep (or whatever it's called), and then redyed them. They came out perfect, and soft! I was a little leery of the process at first, but it was pretty easy and worked out well. I think there are directions on the leaterique site, and a google will turn up even more.
