Leatherique for 2 weeks?

I will be leaving the country for about 2.5 weeks. I was thinking about taking the wife's seats out and putting Leatherique on them and letting them sit till I get back from vac.



Anyone think this is a bad idea?
 
It will be fine. I'd apply the RO a day or two before and reapply right before you depart. Do not be afraid to apply it very heavy. If you leave the car out in the sun while you are gone, that is the best.
 
Cover with a clear trash bag or clear foil otherwise it will be dried and covered with dust/dirt when you come back.

Good point.



I was planning on taking the front seats out and leaving them in the garage, along with the car. The current high temp for the days are around high 60's to low 70's but I thought the 2 week dwell time would make up for that.
