Leather treatment

How much is necessary to do I decemt polishing/waxing?

I saw something at Lowes(like home depot) called the wax master. It was 29.99. Said 3000 rpm is this enough?

Well lets start with the basics. RPM is for a rotary buffer, and OPM is for an orbital machine. I am familar with the "Waxmaster" and its an orbital. It will be useful for removing wax and removing other products, but that is about it. They don't really have enough power to remove swirls or correct surface damage. If you just want something to remove the wax from your car, then it's fine for that use.

Depends on what you are doing. The waxmaster is not going to be powerful enough to remove and swirls or surface damage.

Well if you need to remove swirls the waxmaster is not going to do the job. The Porter Cable *might* do the trick, it's hard to say with out seeing it. The Porter Cable has a top speed of 6,000 OPM. But the main thing is that is has a 3.7 amp motor where as the "Waxmaster" is not even 1 amp. Lowes sells the Porter Cable for $109 and the model is 7336SP.

Then when you get into rotary buffers they have 8-10 amp motors, that is in part why they are not for beginners but can produce amazing results. :up

I searched but confused myself. Im looking for a leather final treatment that can be used indoors/outdoors. I bought a VX5000 steam cleaner (AWESOME device!) but now my recliner looks dry. I really don't care for Lexol products either. Any easy apply/wipe off products that you guys recommend??? Thanks!

I really like the Leather Masters products. I have used both the strong cleaner and the protection cream and love them both.
