Yes it will remove odors, however, you also have to look into other areas as well such as the carpet, and of course the headliner since smoke will be trapped up there.

Yes, there are other good treatments: Hide Food (smells like Kerosene) Autoglym which is another good product as well and I have that too.
More people have better success with Leatherique and Zaino than other store bought products.
Stay with products used for automotive leathers and you'll be fine!
I have an Ecru interior so I'm always cleaning it. Once it's on a maintenance routine, the leather cleans up quicker and smells much better.
