Leather seat brush?

Do you find it necessary to have a leather seat brush? How different is it from a regular brush...or even a 'tooth brush'? How do you clean your leather seats? Thank you.

You can safely use a toothbrush (rather small and labour intensive) or a kitchen brush (3 for £1 fro Ikea!!) to clean your leather seats. Avoid using a tampico brush as these become too soft when wet and do not have much effect.

Remember you are not trying to scub the dirt out but simply aiding the foam cleaner to get into the grain pattern which will then begin to lift the dirt. Any brush should be used gently it is the product that is doing the work.

Integritydetail,

Thank you! That brush looks pretty good...:)

John

Yes John, very good construction. I found a similar one on another site and Irene price matched the good one @ $14.95

David, I love that you can utilize common, household items to turn our immaculate work like that. My PC brush covers more ground faster, but there are some places it just won't reach. I guess what I'm saying is the toothbrush is superior as even if you have the PC brush you still need it to do a complete job. Very similar to the Extracter thread, maybe it's preferred by some, but it is not a standalone do-all.

You know, just b/c that's what they make you use to clean things in the military (or prison?) doesn't mean you still have to. Out in the free world you can use aaaany size brush you want!
