I'm scheduled to take an IIRC carpet and upholstery cleaning class in June, but they do not offer a leather restoration and repair class...I'm very interested.
 
Why are we referring to Leather Master's cleaners as "APC"? These are targeted products intended for leather.



LM offers numerous cleaners (varying strength depending on level of soil). It's their recommendation to use the stronger cleaners ONLY if needed. They do suggest using Soft Cleaner as your go-to product followed up by the conditioner.

Sorry if you thought I assumed it was an APC. I realize/know it's not. I was refering to many people (including me) using various APC's on leather. Over the last ~20 years, I've never had any problems using properly diluted APC for leather - YET! That's what I'm concerned with & want to use a dedicated leather cleaner & protector. I've been following & speaking with several people who use LM and I really want to try it. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I've never tried "APC" on leather. I guess I'd be reluctant to do so. I've tried a lot of dedicated leather products over the years and have a shelf of mediocre products :(



Judge Judy seems to be hot on the foaming style cleaners. LM offers at least two different flavors. Based upon descriptions from their website, they sound potent.
 
I'm thinking the stronger the better as long as it won't create damage. Plus, you could water it down(I think)? I tend to favor water based cleaners (that foam) over a totally foam one. Thy tend to have longer/better workability IMHO.

Guys, just a quik heads-up 'cause bad service really pisses me off.



I placed an order with the LM USA distributor (link above) and it's take them 1 week, yes, 1 week to get a package containing a very modest shipment handed to UPS.



When it's all said and done, nearly TWO WEEKS for it to arrive at my location. Completely unacceptable to me.



I'm sharing this as bad service that's considered SOP should be made public so we can then decide whether we want to do business. :down :down :down

I hear you. Before your post above I called them (MultiMasters) to check on the status of my order, which I placed 3 days ago. I was told it would not even ship for about 7-10 days, so I said forget it and I canceled my order. I am sticking with Aaron's, Phil's, and Judy's advise and I will dilute the strong cleaner, which I ordered from Phil.
 
I found some LM Soft Cleaner on ebay that I just received today. I'll let everyone know about my experiences.



But good to hear about TOL and the poor service.



EDIT: I read the previous posts too quickly and thought TOL was the culprit but they are not. I understand that MultiMasters is the company with the poor service with the LM products.

My experience wasn't with TOL, but with MultimaMasters.
