It Never Rains in CA??
Hello DC,

I'm working on an E430 with badly wrinkled driver seat... see attached pic. I'll post the passenger for comparison.

The wrinkled photo is even after a few tricks I found on DC. Found the thread on rinsing terry cloth in very hot water, wringing it, and using it as a hot applicator with leather conditioner... no change. Also found the threads on using heat guns and the like... a hot blow-dryer is about as far as I'm willing to go with that, but it had no effect.

The conditioner I used was zymol treat, if that helps. I'll have 4* cleaner and conditioner early next week thanks to Dwayne's KICK-A$$ service :bigups.

Any suggestions? My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I don't want anyone thinking I put those wrinkles there :lmfao.

Thanks!

I don't understand shouldn't leather wrinkle? I don't understand how it can't. My leather wrinkles too and they are well taken care of with a good cleaner and conditioner(lexol)

If you gonna sit on it , its gonna wrinkle. What ever does work will be a short fix . Even cows have wrinkles :lmfao

www.leatherique.com This should help, WARNING not cheap but works great.GOOD LUCK

I'm almost through with a leatherique re-dye, and I'll say that the rejuvinator oil, pristine clean, or a re-dye kit probably won't remove those creases and stretching. Leatherique products are very impressive, but I doubt they'll fix stretched leather.

E43sp0rt, good luck, perforated leather can be a pain to condition.
