leather dyes...name some vendors /brands

looking to purchase some leather dye (matt black for a vw )



ive used leathermagic before and liked it...just wanted to look at what else is available before i buy (intl ordering isnt a prob as i have a u.s addy i can use)

If you got some that worked and looked how it's supposed to look, I'd do that again. I get mine through Superior Restoration in Sacramento. There's Fitzgerald's in Stockton, Trim-Flex Vinyl in Portland, Color-Plus in Pennsylvania, Leather Master's in Virginia, and Viper somewhere on the East Coast, plus a whole slug of other suppliers I don't know personally that sell matte or satin black for car seats. To insure it stays on I always go with adding a cross-linker (catalyst) to the paint, and make sure it's water-base.

Unfortunately, I am not sure if you can purchase from the suppliers mentioned if you are in the UK. I think LeatherMaster has a distributor in the UK, so you might look them up. A better option would be to email Home. They have a distributor in the UK.
