My friend's car is 3 months old car and I'm just wondering if Klasse AIO is necessary or could I just apply the SG...I will be helping him detail his car with my Klasse kit ...also its never been polished or waxed since delivery.

so the SG has a good base to bond to...plus no matter how new the car is....there's crap on there...it may not be apparent...but its there....best to gt it really clean...then wehn you cover with SG it really looks awesome........:up

But then again, I would also clay it and use PPCL if necessary. New cars are by no means as clean as you think they are.

They have contaminants from sitting in the dealer's lot and from being shipped by train. If you are just going to KLASSE it, I'd do AIO as well for sure but this is just my preference.

First time today, I cleaned seats with a leather cleaner, and then used the conditioner product.. Customer asked me how long will this last, -- Mid west weather, she drives the Monte Carlo daily . Conditioner has mink oil in it.. and does not state how often to use. I said I'm guessing, but maybe 6 months? softoa..

I dont know about your product but Ive always read to condition leather twice a year . :)

On a daily driver I'd condition leather AT LEAST once every season. Driver seat can benefit from conditioning it even more often, considering that it gets abused more...

It will help to condition it twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. But on the driver seat I would go for every quarter because it gets the most usage.

Monte Carlo??? wow - ain't heard that in long time, I had a 1976 one, with the 1/2 acre hood that worked out well as a Motel 6 when I was in my teen years! Never mind the dents that wouldn't pop back out - it was worth it!

thanks for the advice, yes, there are 3 Monte Carlo's in this town of 1200 population---I'll let the owner know when it can be done again. softoa

Yes, I had a freind that had a 77 I beleive. It was burgundy red w/blk vinyl top and had keystone wheels. It sat real low in the tailend :ar!

Ahhhhh, those were the good ole days I suppose Sleep

* softa, IMO it really kinda depends on if the car is garaged most of the time or does the car sit outdoors alot . If it sits out in a hot parking lot all day then I would reccommend conditioning it monthly. If it stays garaged, them sem-annual sounds ok :-B

I really don't have anything to add other than to say hello and give a bit of a plug for those of us from "Rural IA"; I grew up in IA. You see a lot of Monte Carlos, Grand Prix and Grand Ams up there, for sure.
