Leather Conditioner and Chicago Zaino Distributer

Hey guys, I have a 2003 accord with 21,000 mi and leather seats. The drivers seat showed excessive "character lines" (as the dealer calls it) and even some small cracking/splitting. After many hassles, they finally agreed to replace the leather covers. My passenger seat and back seats are fine. I would like to prevent this from happening again, and after reading some posts, I thinko Z10 would be a good maintenance conditioner for all my seats. Unless you guys have better suggestions for this specific application???? I emailed Sal and he told me there was no Chicago Distriubutors (dont wanna pay almost as much shipping for the product as the conditioner), but searched these forums and found there was one named Pat Grande http://autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=21285

(scroll to bottom) Can anyone confirm he still sells zaino, or have his email? Thanx for your help and suggestions. :bounce

Z10 is the best stuff out there IMO, buy 3 bottles and through in a cleaner. Then your at 2 bucks per item for shipping. If you don't use their sealant for some reason you can also try their tire shine which is also one of their best items and might offset your shipping concerns. Z10 can also be used on abs plastic dashes, I'm in love with it because it gives me that new leather smell in my cheap non-leather expedition. if you buy three bottles and a cleaner it will last you 5 years. $45 bucks for at least five years of perfect smelling and softened leather, hmm, not bad. I bought two bottles and a cleaner and other people bought it off me and they each paid the shipping charge, lol, shh. One lady bought a z9 and z10 and another bought z10 and gladly paid the product cost plus shipping after seeing the results. Very nice matte finish that will not streak your leather. Easy to use and it smells so much like leather if you travel with your pets in the car they will think there's a cow in there.

The only other leather product that I recommend in leatherique, but it's much more expensive and their shipping charges are a joke! It is also very triky to use, but it's an exellent leather product. Sometimes over 15 bucks for a small order shipped though. Pay for z10 and 9 it it's worth it. Even two z10 and one z9 would be 38 bucks shipped and would last you a good long while. I never heard a bad word about Zaino leather products. There are many other leather products that will cost less and still do a good job, but if you want the haagen daz of leather products you got to pay haagen prices.

Thanx for the help, I figured that Z10 would be a good choice. Kinda weary of buying multiple bottles w/o trying it first...but with all the good reviews, its kinda hard to resist, and I definately dont want my seats to crack again. Can anyone still confirm there is no Chicago distributor?

Thanx,

Paul :D

I live 45 minutes outside the city and the closest zaino dealer I could find is out of Indy called the gloss boss. You can usually get your order next day but it would be nice if we had a local distributor.

I have had little luck finding places in the Chicagoland area that carry good detailing supplies. :nixweiss
