okay this was definatly a learning experience in the aspect of photographing the detail process..

i really should have taken a before-before shot or two, with car dirty.. increased image size to full 2.1mp mode, not taken shots into the sun (duh).. and remembered the areas i zoomed in on defect wise to re-photograph ;P

all in all it was good fun though. i was only able to start around 3pm on saturday.. which left me in a bind only 3/4 way finished by nightfall. took some pics at that point (after dawn wash, clay, wash with zaino, z-pc, z5-zfx(x2), z2pro and then z8.

i gotta say z2pro was very impressive. compared to the old z2 forumula i definatly noticed some improvment. the grand finale z8 didnt do much for me but by this time it was later in the day.. colder/more humid and this could have hindered its performance.

the next day i qd'd with crystal mist and topped with souveran, but got a strange streaking that becomes very apparent as dew begins to form on the finish at night. or in direct sun.

plus i lost the compatability of adding more coats of zaino until the souveran is stripped ;/ glad i attempted it though. but from now on i stick to zaino OR souveran on black.

next series of photos will be greatly improved, promise.. but here you go in the meantime. at night after all zainoing the car looked phenominal!

Definitely overexposed. The paint is real shiny but kind of hard to tell exactly how it looks. :nixweiss

You also have some swirls in the paint. You might want to polish it before you wax it next time to get the best appearance.

i used z-pc with a polishin' pal over the whole car.

used the cutting pad on problem areas and it cleaned them up pretty nicely.

dont have a machine though so some of the swirls remained ;/
