Leading The Way!

It`s plausible. Everything I`ve heard about the guy is how straight up and impartial he is. He had to know none of what he shared was ever going to come to light.

He was in a bad spot. He`s getting shredded today answering questions

IMHO most of today is more "evidence" gathering for future stuff. Like lying to Congress like lying about the emails about Benghazi, etc.
 
They asked him a dozen times, how all the lying, shredding, deleting, about emails does not constitute - Intent - and he does not get it ???
He seems to be a nice guy I guess, but who is lying to whom here ?

It was an incredibly interesting look into how a Subcommittee deals with crap like this..

I saw some really great people ask great questions..
I saw some people use this platform to bring up other stuff that had nothing to do with the reason to be there...

Oh, there is going to be A LOT more brought into the light that has been hidden in the Dark, before this is all over with...

Wait until they get that dingbat Loretta Lynch in and ask her where all her Staff was, and who was taking notes of the 30 Minute meeting she had with the NastyMan, right before Hillary went before the FBI on Saturday...

Then when it`s all tied together, look out below... :)

Remember, he has a "standard" which is what he can prove, not what he thinks or feels.

As I said, this may have been his way of letting the American public know so it didn`t get buried.

IMHO - The public now knows she is either a crooked liar, or stupid. So that should hopefully educate the populous. But then again, people did elect O to a 2nd term......
 
The problem with his "Standard" is apparently, the Bar for it is so incredibly (?) out of Reach, that looks like going forward, this sets a precedent of sorts that will allow every dumba$$ in the world who works with classified US Government AND Military Information, to go willy-nilly around with it, set up stuff at home so it can be easily Hacked, and then just say - "well Hell, l I didn`t know THAT was wrong," Excuuuuuuuse me".... And go merrily on their way, no harm, no foul....

I am more worried about the Security of our Nation`s dealings with things that are really for "their eyes only", so that we can remain hopefully ahead of a many bad things that are already here and about to be even more in our face...

I already said what they told me when I signed the dotted line to have a T/S/Crypto Access Security Clearance...

And you know, every time I had to do something with those things I, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, went through my Internal Checklist -
Do/Does this person have The Need to Know???? Do/Does this person have a proper Security Clearance ???

I have to be positive that these rules have not changed - but unfortunately, the caliber of some individuals who have access to these things has been heading steadily downward for quite some time...

If there is no problem with breaking laws because of something as stupid as "Intent", and even when Congress said there ARE laws that deal with this, then this country is going to be run over by all kinds of bad things that you cannot even imagine..

I hope and pray that Congress will use all their power to help turn this around before its too late...

This man along with many others, clearly speaks the mind of any citizen of this Nation who even has a whit of common sense...

And Good Old Boy, Comey, for some reason, cannot grasp what everyone is saying and I`m not even counting all the people in the rest of the world, who are also shaking their heads and thinking - "this can`t be for real".....

Hurry on, November, so we can put an END to this Evil-Political-Madness... :(

I am unaffiliated and vote on the candidates and issues.

I do not think many will argue she lied or covered up this however as said previously this is election is about deciding about the lesser of two evils (her or the mango guy). Trump has already said/done things that makes him unqualified too in my opinion.

It depends on what issues are important to you when you hold your nose and vote. We have seen people who did all sorts of things elected and re-elected so there is nothing really new.

If Hillary received the same charge as Petreus who gave classified info it (rather than mishandled it) but still would be the same and there would still be the debate if the crime makes her unfit.

The two party system is not serving us well and the system is not fair and people complain about it when it is against their only agenda so it is a problem of our own making.
 
If you can breathe you can get a low level clearance. The Top Secret clearance is a little tougher, but there is always a backlog of applicants so an interim clearance is given. I got my Top Secret clearance just because I was company commander and had to oversee personnel working with Top Secret material. The system is convoluted, as in almost everything is marked confidential just because people are afraid something will slip through. The weather report was marked confidential. I know of many people that had confidential material on their personal laptops and took it home to work on (not me). It was against policy, but was widespread. There were supposed to be removable hard drives marked with security clearances, but it was in the "too hard to do box". This lets no one off the hook, including Clinton. I am sure she knew the rules and she just decided she was too important to follow them. Now she is paying for her lack of good common sense. I still would take her over Trump. Hopefully she has learned the hard way. Trump is just a loose cannon that may set back US policy to pre WW II isolation levels. But there are many that want that. He reminds me of McCarthy and the Red scare. Rule by fear. If you are not one of us you are against us type of stuff. Exclusion policy instead of inclusion. Inclusion is part of what makes America a great country. I have children that are half Latino and they ask me why does Trump hate them. I tell them he hates anyone that is not male, white, and rich and I have seen nothing to the contrary.
 
Politicians are muck rakers and bottom feeders to begin with. If I want a moral compass I`ll find a religion. I hope she learns how to avoid getting caught. I met General Petraeus and from my short talk with him and one of his aides I held him in high regard (and still do). He just let the little head do his thinking for him, it happens. He as with many military men would make a terrible politician (although there is a political process to make general). Our political leaders have to be sharp just to stay in office (Slick Willie). They have to make deals with the worst scum in the world just to survive. Trump is not a politician and it shows. Unfortunately this is how our world works, back room deals and backstabbing. I don`t like it, but I don`t want a choirboy in charge of the country. I do want someone with political experience and the toughness to withstand the pettiness of politics. Trump is not the right person to lead. It`s the Devil and the deep blue sea, a rock and a hard spot. Just my opinion
