LC puple foamed wool vs. LC orange pad

Are the orange LC pads being referred here CCS or non-CCS?

I've gotten skipping with the orange CCS pads.

Thanks! I only have the CCS orange in 4" size, it handles okay with the rotary. Yet to try the bigger sizes

I used a purple foamed wool in my most recent aggressive correction detail using a PC and SIP. It worked much better than an orange, or even yellow CCS for that matter.

IIRC (and I could be wrong) some people here have used some "new tech" wool pads with the PC and said it worked OK. Might be worth a separate thread, maybe we can get some definitive answers.



My gut feeling is that the smaller foamed wool would work OK for aggressive initial correction, at least with the right product. And regulars here will note that opinion is *VERY* different from what I've posted in the past about using wool with the PC

I orderd the purple wool/foam pads last week for my FLEX....can't wait for them to get here!! Got a lot of cars coming up (booked through July 14th right now) and will need the faster cut to help out!!:drool:

BTW, I received my two PFW pads today.



Smaller than I anticipated.

I used the pfw pads with my flex with only 106ff and got amazing results.I used them with 106ff as an expeirement just to see what the combo could do and i was quite suprised.I was suprised at how many cobwebs(swirls) i got rid of without really trying.I cant wait to try ip with this pfw combo and the flex.
