LC CCS OEM and HG pad differences?

Hey guys, im wondering if you could tell me if theres any huge differences between the LC CCS oem pads and the LC CCS HG pads? Ive heard that the orange oem pad feels stiff, and the orange high gloss one feels better and has more play. Is there any other differences? I was thinking of getting 1 orange CCS HG, then 2 white oem CCS and 2 black oem ccs pads? a 2pack of the oem ccs pads is $12 and one HG pad is $10. Should i get all hg pads?

So you think the orange oem pads are fine? Ive heard of people soaking them in hot water and turning on the pc to dry them out and that helped soften them. Is it necessary to use a conditioner on the pads before applying product for better lubrication?

Other than the fact that I've had a few problems with the velcro seperating on some of them, I really like proper auto care's line of LC pads. I kinda like the additional thickness. It helps to be an additional heat sink, and I'm always paranoid of getting foam pads too hot. That and the fact that my new rotary transmits alot of heat to the backing plate makes me even more appreciative of the thicker pads.

I'm assuming PC usage. If you are using a rotary then thicker pads are always better but I 've never been able to use an orange pad with the rotary. I prefer the german green pad.

so would you guys shell out the extra cash to get the ccs pads on autogeek rather then getting the oem ccs pads from properautocare?

For the pc get the lowest priced ones with the right velcro.
