LC Black vs LC Blue

I mainly apply my LSP my hand but I wanted to begin using my PC for my LSP's.

I already have several of the LC Black finishing pads. Up to this point I have used them for applying glaze and PO 85 RD.

Is there any point in me buying several blue pads for applying my LSP (Blackfire WD, Collinte 845 for example) or would the black pads be just fine for that?

Thanks!

I always used to apply AIO with a black pad via PC to do a "final clean up" but if the blue pad is even finer, that would make sense to me for it to be optimal for LSP application. Since you want to try machine application of your LSP this time, I'd get one blue pad and pair with your favorite LSP and see how it goes.

Blue is firmer than the black and I only used it to apply Collinite insulator wax (845) which is thicker than other liquid waxes.

Get the blue pad since you have the 845 and I think you'll like it.

I've used all sorts of pads for LSPs, and IME it's seldom a huge deal which type of "zero cut" pad you choose. But yeah, some pad/product combos are simply super (so I'd listen to merci) and others aren't.

If I were gonna buy new pads for LSPing (and I'm not gonna do that in the foreseeable future), I'd look into the LC Gold LSPing pad.
