Layering #7 Show Car Glaze

if anything, putting #7 on top of a layer of #26 will cause the #26 to break down faster and screw up the surface bonding of the new #26 you put over it.



Also remember that #7 does moderately lower the optical clarity of your paint surface. Over time too many layers of 7 you put on will make the paint look "muddy" and this isnt a good effect.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. What is it about the #7 that degrades the optical clarity anyway?

any product that leaves oils on the surface of your paint to fill scratches and swirls is leaving something that lessens the "purity" of your paint's appearance.
